Car Parts Delivery Australia-Wide: Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and More

Every order leaves Melbourne tracked: Australia Post for parcels under 5 kg, StarTrack for heavy items like brake disc sets, on Australia Post's published timeframes.

Searching for Mercedes-Benz parts in Perth, BMW parts in Brisbane or Audi parts in Adelaide usually ends the same way: the part is not on a shelf near you, and it does not need to be. Every order is dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria, to every state and territory, on the timeframes Australia Post publishes for each destination.

01 How orders leave Melbourne

The carrier is decided by the weight and shape of the order, not by where it is going.

  • Parcels under 5 kg — go by Australia Post; you choose Parcel Post or Express Post at checkout. Most service parts sit here: brake pads, an oil filter, wiper blades, a wear sensor, brake fluid.
  • Heavy or multi-box orders — go by StarTrack, Standard or Express. Brake discs (rotors) are the usual reason: a pair such as the Brembo 09.B848.33 set or the Zimmermann 310mm set is well beyond a postal parcel, and StarTrack moves multi-carton consignments as one tracked delivery.

Parts stay in the manufacturer's box, part of what you pay for with ATE, Brembo or MANN-Filter, inside an outer carton with void fill; rotors are packed to protect the friction face and hub. An order mixing a rotor pair with pads and a sensor is a heavy order, so the StarTrack options apply to all of it.

Business days, counted from lodgement

Every timeframe here is an Australia Post published transit band, in business days from when the carrier collects the parcel. It is a guide, not a promise, and the plus sign in the Express bands is Australia Post's signal that some areas take longer.

02 Delivery times to each capital city

Australia Post's bands depend on whether the parcel crosses a state border: we ship from Victoria, so Victoria is same-state and everywhere else is interstate.

Express Post1–2+ business days1–3+ business days
StarTrack (heavy items)Standard or ExpressStandard or Express

Melbourne and Victoria

The shortest bands, per Australia Post: Parcel Post 2–4 business days and Express Post 1–2+ within the state. Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo sit in the same band as metropolitan Melbourne. Rotor pairs go StarTrack, Standard or Express.

Sydney and New South Wales

Mercedes-Benz engine parts for Sydney are a routine interstate run: Australia Post publishes 3–6 business days for Parcel Post and 1–3+ for Express Post. Newcastle and Wollongong share those bands; allow more for the far north and west. Heavy orders go StarTrack.

Brisbane and Queensland

Mercedes-Benz parts for Brisbane and the Gold Coast ship on the interstate bands: Parcel Post 3–6 business days, Express Post 1–3+. Queensland is a long state, so Townsville, Cairns and inland addresses can sit at the upper end or past it. Rotor pairs go StarTrack.

Adelaide and South Australia

Adelaide is a shorter interstate run, but the interstate bands apply: 3–6 business days Parcel Post, 1–3+ Express Post. If you are looking for Mercedes-Benz engine parts in Adelaide, that is the window to plan around. The Riverland, Eyre Peninsula and the far north may need longer. Heavy items go StarTrack.

Perth and Western Australia

Perth is the destination people worry about most, and distance is why. The published bands still apply: 3–6 business days Parcel Post, 1–3+ Express Post, and Express is worth choosing when the car is off the road. The Pilbara and the Kimberley are most likely to run past the band. Rotor pairs go StarTrack.

Hobart and Tasmania

Hobart, Launceston and Devonport are interstate for postal purposes, quoted at Parcel Post 3–6 business days and Express Post 1–3+. Bass Strait adds a leg to the journey, one reason to choose Express when timing matters. Heavy items go StarTrack.

Darwin and the Northern Territory

Darwin is a long run from Melbourne. The interstate bands apply, 3–6 business days Parcel Post and 1–3+ Express Post, and the plus sign matters most here: Alice Springs, Katherine and remote communities are on less frequent runs, so plan for the upper end. Heavy items go StarTrack.

Canberra and the ACT

The ACT is interstate from Victoria, so Canberra and Queanbeyan are quoted on the same bands as Sydney: Parcel Post 3–6 business days, Express Post 1–3+. Express is available at checkout; rotor pairs go StarTrack.

03 Using the delivery estimator on product pages

Every product page has a delivery estimator: enter your postcode and it lists the services available for that item to that address, with the cost of each, before you reach the checkout. For a light part such as the ATE Ceramic pad set 13.0470-7304.2 you will see the Australia Post options; for a rotor pair such as the ATE disc set 24.0124-0301.2 you will see StarTrack Standard and Express.

The estimator quotes for one product; the checkout recalculates for the whole order and shows the exact cost before you pay. For a full brake job from the brakes range, with pads, rotors, a wear sensor and fluid, the checkout figure is the one to rely on.

Car off the road?

Choose Express Post or StarTrack Express at checkout, and check the cart first: a brake job that arrives without its wear sensor or brake fluid is a second wait.

04 Tracking, missed deliveries and returns

Every parcel is tracked, and the number is emailed when the order leaves us. If nobody is home, Australia Post will usually leave the parcel in a safe place if you have authorised that, or card it and hold it at a nearby post office; StarTrack will typically card the address and offer redelivery or depot collection. A work address where someone can sign is often simplest for a heavy rotor consignment.

Returns are covered on the returns policy page. Keep the manufacturer packaging intact until the part is confirmed right, and if anything arrives damaged or wrong, contact us with your order number before sending it back. The shipping policy has the formal version of this page.

05 Why confirmed fitment beats the local counter

"Mercedes parts near me" is a fair search, and the local counter has immediacy on its side. European cars complicate it. One Mercedes-Benz model can run several brake sizes across its variants and years, the wear sensor differs between them, and a counter working from a generic catalogue is guessing. The vehicle selector on every category and product page filters to parts with TecDoc-confirmed fitment for Australian-market cars, and each product page shows a "fits your vehicle" confirmation and a compatible-vehicle table, so everything from a MANN-Filter HU 7025z oil filter to a Bosch A930S wiper set is filtered to what fits. Brakes are safety-critical, so have the owner's manual or a qualified mechanic confirm the job too. That is the trade: a few business days in transit for a part you know is right. FAQ Common questions

Do you deliver car parts to Perth and regional Western Australia?

Yes. Every order ships from Melbourne to any Australian address. Parcels under 5 kg go by Australia Post, whose published interstate timeframes are 3–6 business days for Parcel Post and 1–3+ business days for Express Post. Heavy items such as brake disc (rotor) pairs go by StarTrack. Remote WA addresses can run past the band, so choose Express when the car is off the road.

How long does delivery take from Melbourne to Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide?

All three are interstate from Victoria, so Australia Post's published interstate timeframes apply: Parcel Post 3–6 business days and Express Post 1–3+ business days, counted from when the carrier collects the parcel. Those are published bands rather than a promise. Heavy orders go by StarTrack, with Standard and Express options quoted by postcode.

Which carrier delivers brake discs (rotors)?

Rotor pairs are heavy, multi-box orders, so they go by StarTrack rather than Australia Post. You choose StarTrack Standard or Express at checkout, and the consignment travels under one tracking number. An order that also contains pads or a wear sensor is treated as heavy, and the StarTrack options apply to all of it.

Can I see the delivery cost before I place an order?

Yes. Every product page has a delivery estimator: enter your postcode and it shows the services available for that item to that address, with the cost of each, before anything goes in your cart. The checkout then recalculates for the complete order and shows the exact cost before payment.

Can I return a part that does not fit?

The returns policy sets out what can be returned and in what condition, so read it before sending anything. Better to avoid the problem: use the vehicle selector on every category and product page to confirm TecDoc-listed fitment for your Australian-market car before ordering, keep the manufacturer packaging intact until the part is confirmed, and contact us with your order number if anything is wrong.
